THE winners of a local Halloween display competition have been crowned.

Moray Community Trail's Halloween garden display competition attracted a host of entries, before The Northern Scot had the tough task of picking three winners.

The overall winner, who will receive a hamper and a trophy from the Community Trail, was Laura Graves, who designed her display with help from her daughter Evie (5).

Laura said: "Evie decided what she would like on the windows and I created them.

"With Hocus Pocus 2 released this year I had to include the Sanderson Sisters in our display. I am a Stranger Things fan so of course I loved making this window.

"Evie wanted a haunted house so we got creative and made our skeleton his very own house. We love crafting together and our Halloween projects are our favourite creations.

"We have loved every minute of creating our display. Everyone's displays looked amazing and we love how the whole community comes together for Halloween."
