Police Scotland have charged a woman after dog attacks at an Elgin farm leaves 80 ducks and four sheep dead

A 42-YEAR-OLD woman has been arrested and charged in connection with worrying livestock on a farm, Police Scotland said.

The news comes after ducks and sheep were killed by two dogs at a farm in Elgin.

In the early hours of Monday, September 12, two dogs attacked and killed 80 ducks at Mayne Farm.

Four sheep also died in second attack which took place yesterday (Monday, September 19) at the same location.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the woman is expected to appear at court at a later date.
