Workshop to spotlight cost of living crisis impact on volunteering

THE impact of the cost of living crisis on volunteering is to take centre stage at forthcoming online workshop.

Entitled Delivering for Volunteers During the Cost of Living Crisis, the workshop will be run by Volunteer Scotland.

The event will also feature an update on the National Volunteering Framework and, for Volunteer Scotland members following the end of the workshop, the organisation's AGM.

The programme for the event is: Hello and welcome; Cost of living crisis for volunteers and volunteering; Cost of living crisis – recent Volunteer Scotland research; Cost of Living Task Group – update/challenges; Breakouts; Volunteering Action Plan – progress update; Volunteering Action Plan – get involved; AGM.

The workshop is scheduled to run from 10am to 11.30am on Wednesday, November 23, with the AGM getting under way at 11.35am until 12 noon. The workshop and AGM will be conducted via Zoom.
