There is no indication at this stage as to when the kiosk will open but Tesco say they are hopeful that it will be open soon.

That's after a building warrant application was submitted to Moray Council last week revealing plans to open a YO! Sushi Kiosk in Tesco in Elgin.

The application includes plans to form an ambient store, instal a YO! Sushi counter and a food preparation area with the work expected to cost around £18,000.

Although no official opening date has been given for the kiosk, Tesco say that they are hopeful of opening it soon.

A Tesco spokesperson said: "We’re always keen to offer a wide range of the best services for our customers and look forward to opening the new YO! Sushi kiosk in our Elgin Extra store shortly."

Once open, Elgin sushi lovers will be able to select from over 70 items on YO!'s kiosk menu.

The menu includes a variety of sushi dishes and platters as well as rice bowls, bao buns and more.
