Youth (17) charged in connection with serious assault in Elgin

A 17-year-old youth has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault in Elgin.
A 24-year-old man needed hospital treatment for serious facial injuries following an incident on Meadow Crescent in Elgin around 8.45pm on Friday, October 7.
The teenager is due to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court on Monday, October 10.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.
