After two draws against Fochabers and Craigellachie, Villa scored six times without reply against an RAF Lossiemouth side which had opened with an 11-0 win over Seaforth.

James Grant struck on eight minutes then Barry Grant’s cross found the head of captain Reece Cooper to make it 2-0 soon after.

Korey Pring’s long range effort was spilled in by the RAF keeper, then Liam Munro cut in from the left wing and looped the ball home to give Villa a 4-0 half time lead.

Pring and Cooper both grabbed their second goals after the break and Lossie’s miserable night was sealed when Danny Finlay was sent off for a second yellow.

Rothes A defeated Cullen 3-0 thanks to a Scott Anderson double and a Conaire Bowie effort.

Portsoy got off the mark with a 3-2 success away to new boys Ugie.

The Keith hosts started well and drew first blood on 15 minutes when Cammy Thomson was played in on goal and finished well.

Portsoy punished poor Ugie defending to level through Aidan O’Neill, and the visitors built up a 3-1 lead with O’Neill netting his second and Steven Jamieson also on target.

Reece Johnston slotted into the bottom corner to pull one back for the home team and Ugie had several chances to level.

Portsoy’s keeper pulled off a string of saves and Ryan Dyer struck the underside of the bar but the Keith outfit couldn’t find a leveller.

No team has won all their matches just three games into the season and Seaforth are the only one of the 13 clubs still to get off the mark.
