HUNTLY boss Dave McGinlay says nobody is getting carried away after a great start to the season.
His side continued their 100% start to the season with a 5-3 win over Buckie Thistle in the Aberdeenshire Cup on Wednesday night.
New striker Lucasz Stasiak bagged his second goal in two games in the win.
Neale Davidson (25), Russell Guild (30) and Stasiak (31) gave Huntly a 3-0 interval lead.
Martin Charlesworth pulled one back, but Jason Coyle, a replacement for the injured Stasiak, and Andrezej Kelczkowski made it 5-1.
Late goals from Paul Napier and Neil Davidson restored some pride for Buckie.
A double from Russell Guild and a debut strike from Stasiak gave Huntly a 3-1 win at Nairn last weekend.
"I would like to think we are building a little momentum but nobody is getting carried. We could lose the next three games and it all goes flat," said McGinlay.
The manager has been impressed with the impact made by Stasiak, who has come over from Poland to play alongside his former team-mate and friend Kleczkowski.
The 6ft 6in striker looks set to make a huge impact and has been signed on a year long contract.
"Lucasz is different class and the lads have got a lift from having him in the team. He picked up an injury on Wednesday night and is touch and go for Saturday against Clach."
