Jags host Fraserburgh in the quarter-finals of the Aberdeenshire Shield, just days after beating Edinburgh City in the Scottish.

Visitors Broch saw their cup visit to Turriff postponed last weekend due to the weather, and may have one eye on this Saturday’s rescheduled tie.

But the Buchan men have won their last six games in all competitions, including a recent victory in the Aberdeenshire Cup final against Inverurie Locos.

Veteran striker Dennis Wyness is back from holiday to join the Buckie squad while Chris Hegarty has shaken off a virus, and Andy Low is back after a long spell out injured.

Chris Angus won't play after injuring his hamstring while scoring the winning goal at Edinburgh on Saturday, and Drew Copeland is also missing.

Jay Cheyne's red card in the Scottish cup means he is banned tonight.

Also in the Shield, managerless Keith are at home to Highland League leaders Cove Rangers.

It is the Maroons’ first match since the departure of boss Gordon Winton, and his former assistant Jim Stables will be in charge until a new manager is appointed.

The other two ties see Deveronvale at home to Formartine United and holders Turriff playing host to Inverurie.
