BUCKIE Thistle suffered an 8-1 home mauling at the hands of champions Brora Rangers.
Former Jag Zander Sutherland hit a hat-trick at his old Victoria Park ground while Steven MacKay struck four and Andrew Greig notched the other. Paul Napier scored with a fine strike for Buckie when they were 6-0 down.
It was the second consecutive week when Brora dished out a thrashing to a Moray side, after beating Rothes 11-0 the Saturday before.
Lossiemouth were the only Moray winners over the weekend as they beat Clach 2-0. Goals by Tony Ross and Shawn Scott earned Charlie Charlesworth's side their second straight league success.
Rothes lost 3-1 at home to Fraserburgh, after a goal by Matty Bobrowski had them level at the break.
Forres Mechanics had a bad day at Turriff United, losing 5-0 and Keith were 3-0 losers at Cove Rangers on Friday night.
