BUCKIE Thistle's Aberdeenshire Shield semi-final against Banks o' Dee is off.

Game off at Victoria Park.

Victoria Park failed a Wednesday lunchtime pitch inspection due to a waterlogged surface.

The match between Jags and the Aberdeenshire Cup holders will now be rescheduled for another date, possibly before the end of the year.

Buckie's pitch has suffered from recent wet weather and it is the fourth match they have lost in the past six weeks.

League games against Wick Academy on October 30 and Nairn County four days later fell victim to the boggy conditions.

Last Saturday's Highland League Cup quarter-final against Inverurie Locos at Buckie was also called off.

Huntly play Inverurie Locos in the other semi-final scheduled for tonight.
