LOSSIEMOUTH are on the hunt for a new chairman, after recruiting help on the commercial front.

The Coasters have not filled their chairman’s position since Rab Mulheron left in 2017, and are on the hunt for a new figurehead as well as bigger committee.

Long-serving secretary Alan McIntosh is one of just five active committee members currently at the Grant Park outfit, and he is appealing for more to come on board.

“We have run for two years without a chairman since Rab left,” he said.

“It’s getting to be more of a struggle for those left to run the club without any help. We could really do with more bodies, not just a new chairman but even if it’s folk who could help out on match days.”

Lossie have enlisted some support from well-known Moray football coaches Mike “Tommy” Ellis and Raymond Grant to assist the club’s commercial department in finding kit sponsors and local businesses to sign up for pitchside advertising boards.

“There’s a lot happening at the club with having under-13s, 15s, 17s and 20s as well as a first team now,” said McIntosh.
