VETERAN golfer Mike Christie has scored his second hole in one – 25 years after his first.

Christie, from Elgin, was playing in the Rover Cup at Garmouth and Kingston when he fired a beauty of a tee shot at the 154-yard par three 15th hole.

Christie used a seven iron to deliver his stunning ace, which he couldn’t see hitting the cup due to two bunkers protecting the front of the green.

He was playing with Charlie Boyle at the time.

Christie is a key figure in Elgin Boys' League football association which is gearing up to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2013.
