JIM Weir has issued a special rallying call for Elgin City supporters to be a 12th man for them in tomorrow’s Scottish Cup visit of Raith Rovers.

“We hope they come out in their numbers and get behind the team, as they have done at home all this season,” he said.

“A strong support is a massive boost for the players and can help put pressure on the match officials, which might work in our favour.”

Elgin lose loan players Mark Hurst, Kyle McLeod and Liam Gordon for the game.

Stewart Black takes over from Hurst in goal, while Gordon missed out last Saturday because of injury so Mark Nicolson looks certain to continue in defence after coming back from injury, too.

Dylan Easton took some heavy knocks in last Saturday’s 4-2 league win over East Fife, but Weir thinks he will be fit.

Wing star Daniel Moore is itching to get stuck into Championship side Raith and thinks a shock could be on the cards. Read his interview in today’s Scot.
