Former St Mirren man O'Keefe, who turns 22 next week, joined City last summer from Stranraer.

He scored one of the fastest hat-trick's in the club's history against Aberdeen's development team in his Borough Briggs debut in pre season, before damaging ankle ligaments in one of his first competitive matches.

The ex-Annan player returned to make 14 starts and nine sub appearances in City's curtailed League 2 campaign.

O'Keefe told the club's website: “I’m excited to be back after last season. We played a great style of football that suited my game.

“I’m looking forward to the season ahead, hoping to avoid any injuries and play a lot more games. Hopefully we can go one step further than last year.”

Chairman Graham Tatters said: “We are pleased to gain Conor for another season.

"This once again gives the management team the continuity of another member of the squad who gave us excellent performances prior to the lockdown.”

Manager Gavin Price now has 13 players signed for the next campaign, which is scheduled to begin in October.
