Forres tang soo do team take home whopping 40 medals from British Championships

A WHOPPING total of 40 medals were won by a Forres team at tang soo do's EMTF British Championships in Newcastle.
The DKMA Scotland Team, consisting of 14 members, attended the championships on March 25, led by instructor master Dominique Stephen.
The competition saw more than 140 people, across 70 divisions, competing in the disciplines of hyungs, weapons and sparring.
DKMA's 14 competitors returned with 17 golds, 10 silvers and 13 bronze medals – winning three of the four overall champion prizes.
Myles Wilson is Grand Champion in Junior Blackbelt Best Ranked, Josh Gallacher is UK Grand Champion in Adult Blackbelt Best Ranked and Henry Stephen is Grand Champion in Master Best Ranked.
Master Dominique Stephen said: "Their achievements are absolutely amazing – especially considering that, for some of them, it was their first time attending an away competition.
"Some of the team who attended the British Championships will be attending the World Championships in Florida to chase those titles, including Myles, Josh and Henry."
The team are looking for potential sponsorship opportunities before heading to the United States – which will be a costly venture.
