Draw made for first rounds of Highland League Cup

The draw for the first rounds of the Highland League Cup were made on Friday afternoon.

President of the Highland League George Manson and managing director of sponsors GPH Builders Merchants Grant Shewan pulled the balls out of the cement mixer for the preliminary round and first round.

Holders Brora Rangers will host Banks O'Dee in the first round, while Deveronvale will welcome local rivals Buckie Thistle.

Highland League Cup draw:

Preliminary round (to be played Saturday, October 29) -

Wick Academy v Formartine United

Strathspey Thistle v Lossiemouth

First round (to be played Saturday, November 12) -

Turriff United v Clachnacuddin

Brechin City v Rothes

Strathspey Thistle or Lossiemouth v Nairn County

Brora Rangers v Banks O'Dee

Huntly v Wick Academy or Formartine United

Keith v Forres Mechanics

Fraserburgh v Inverurie Locos

Deveronvale v Buckie Thistle
