But the Elgin ABC headline-hitter was teenager Tyler Sked, who picked up his fourth north district title in Aberdeen after winning the 50kg junior open class at Sheddocksley Community Centre.

Sked’s fourth success came in a bout against Lochee opponent Jacksyn King.

His triumph was emulated by team-mate Austin Richardson, who won his first district title by beating home hopeful Joel Watson in the 44kg schools novice (2012) category.
