Elgin City match called off and Highland League card decimated as icy conditions take hold

ELGIN City's crunch game against Clyde has been called off and this afternoon's Highland League card has been decimated by adverse weather.

An early morning pitch inspection at Borough Briggs found that the surface was frozen.

The match will be rearranged with a date to be announced in due course.

Elsewhere, every Highland League game this afternoon has suffered the same fate with all but Banks O' Dee's match at home to Strathspey Thistle surviving the icy conditions.
