GAVIN Price played football at a high level in Scotland, England and Holland and has managed for the past decade, but says he hit his lowest point today.

The Elgin City boss watched his team crash out of the Scottish Cup in a second round replay at home to West of Scotland League side Clydebank, and couldn't hide his disgust at full time.

Goals by Liam McGonigle on 14 minutes and Nicky Little on 67 set the Bankies up for a famous 2-1 Borough Briggs success, with Brian Cameron replying for City late on.

"It’s hard, that’s the lowest I’ve felt definitely," he said. "Probably in my whole career, playing and managing.

"It’s going to be a hard one for me to shake off the way I’m feeling.

"There’s no doubt about it, it’s the lowest point for me.

"The Scottish Cup is important to the club and it’s important to me.

"I don’t think that resembled a team that I recognised today, particularly in the second half. I’m just so disappointed."
