The SPFL outfit have officially opened a new accessible area for supporters with disabilities to watch matches in the purpose-built enclosure.

City enlisted the support of local business Pinefield Glass, who built the enclosure and supplied materials, along with timber and joinery merchants The Woodcentre Ltd.

The facility was officially opened on Tuesday with the ribbon being cut by Elgin City Supporters Club member Louise Ferguson, who said: "It will make a big difference to the comfort of spectating of the games."

The Black and Whites have their own accessibility officer, Bryan Easson, who said: "We are hugely indebted to Pinefield Glass and The Woodcentre Ltd for their incredible support. This new facility is fantastic."

Former Elgin City and Lossiemouth footballers Martin Charlesworth and Steven Sim, who work for the two businesses supporting the venture, attended the official opening.
