ONE of Elgin City’s brightest prospects has had the chance to train with a full-time club over the last few weeks.

Fin Allen (18) has been attracting interest from a number of full-time clubs in Scotland.

Now, City have allowed him the opportunity to train full-time with Inverness Caledonian Thistle – while continuing to train with Elgin – to aid his development.

“It’s a good opportunity for Fin,” City manager Gavin Price said.

“There have been a couple of clubs interested and looking at him. This is good for Fin and his development.

“He’s got great potential but still learning his trade, so we are really grateful to Billy Dodds (Inverness Caley Thistle manager) for taking him in.

“He’ll still be training with us, too.”

Allen started three of City’s four Scottish League Cup matches, playing an hour in the fourth.

He’s started two league matches this campaign, coming off the bench three times.
