Sixteen-year-old Owen Loveland scored on his debut to help City beat hosts Stirling University 4-0 on Saturday.

Their reward was a trip to Easter Road to take on a Hibs side which has been going well in the Premiership this season.

He was one of three players scoring their first goals in Elgin colours.

Rabin Omar opened his account for the Black and Whites before Brian Cameron gave the visitors an early 2-0 lead.

Kerr Hay also grabbed his breakthrough goal for Elgin and Loveland finished things off.

All three Highland League clubs in third round action exited the tournament.

Buckie Thistle drew 0-0 at Inverurie Locos in a league match while Andy Macrae scored twice for Forres Mechanics in their 2-1 win over Keith.
