Brothers Jordan and Cameron Milne both battled through to the semi-finals of the scratch tourney for the Kynoch Shand Cup.

Jordan Milne defeated Mikey Paterson in Thursday's last eight and now meets Dean McPherson, who ousted reigning champion Alan Duncan on the second extra hole of a titanic tussle.

Cameron Milne edged out Inverness visitor Jonathon Keith to book a semi date today with Moray's Ryan Copland, who recently played in the Northern Open at Moray Golf Club.

WJ Clark Cup holder Alex Brand lost out to Rory McErlean in the last 16, and there was a hole-in-one for one player as a consolation for not reaching the quarter-finals.

Graeme Lees aced Elgin's seventh hole in his match against Stevie Grant, who went on to claim victory in the end.

The first two finalists have been revealed in the seniors' tournament, as William McInnes and Gary Cruikshank will battle it out for the Alan Milne Trophy.

The other four tourneys will see semi-finals contested this morning and finals in the afternoon.
