And there's an experienced pair at the helm of fellow Championship side New Elgin.

United confirmed that boss Scott Campbell and his assistant, ex-Lossiemouth Highland League captain Kevin Stuart, have committed their future to the club for another three years.

Campbell said they were both delighted to put pen to paper on new deals.

"We have a great team around us and an exciting group of players who we enjoy working with," he said.

"The club is ambitious and we are delighted in the faith of the committee in offering us the opportunity to extend our stay at the club. We look forward to working together and continuing the development of the club.”

United chairman Alex Lauriston added: “The committee have been delighted with how the club is being run on the park.

"We are all very excited for the future and look forward to growing together with a very strong management team. It has been a fantastic 18 months with Scott and Kevin and the team have went from strength to strength."

United posted a thumping 7-0 win at Glentanar last weekend, the third time the coast side had scored seven goals in a match this season.

Meanwhile, New Elgin have appointed Stuart Cameron and Anthony Newlands as their new co-management team.

Cameron enjoyed a long Highland League career at Deveronvale, Elgin City and Lossiemouth and worked as assistant manager at both Vale and Lossie.

Newlands is a former New Elgin player - where he earned his nickname 'Hulk' - and also played Highland League football for Lossiemouth.

More recently he has been a youth coach at Elgin City and Forres Mechanics.

The Nicol-Togneri Park outfit have also handed player Dean McCall a coaching role and appointed Richard Collie as goalkeeping coach.
