Manager Charlie Rowley has brought in defender Dale Wood (23) on a three-year deal after his contract expired at Rothes.

The Cans have also signed former Ross County midfielder Jack Grant (19) on a two-year contract.

Ex-Elgin City man Wood, who can also play in midfield, said on his Facebook page: "An unreal three years at Rothes are finally over, its been a pleasure.

"Buzzing to now have signed for Forres and ready for a fresh start."

Wood also had a spell at Dufftown juniors before signing for Rothes.

His time at the Speysiders took a setback last term when he received a 20-match ban by the SFA amidst allegations of betting on his team's matches.

Grant has Highland League experience from a spell at Keith last season on loan from County, who released him at the end of the campaign.
