Only a year ago the Morriston club formed a four group structure, offering structured athletics programmes to members at under 11 and 13 level and helping them make advances on their technique.

In the final, Whittaker finished fourth (10.15) and is now second in the Scottish rankings, while Grant ran her third PB of the competition to finish fifth (10.20).

Whittaker also ran a PB in her 60m heat and reached the semi-finals along with Grant, who then took part in the long jump and claimed a PB and CR (4.19m) to finish sixth.

Lucas Powditch recorded a PB and new club record in the 60m semi-finals and 200m.
