Forres Mechanics’ Highland League Cup first round tie against Fort William, which has already been postponed three times, could end up being played at Lossiemouth.

A fourth attempt to play the tie at Mosset Park will be made on Wednesday.

However, if the Forres pitch is again deemed unplayable by noon on Tuesday, the game will be changed to Lossiemouth’s Grant Park the following day, with an 8pm kick off.

Meanwhile, two Moray junior teams have changed the venue of their scheduled cup-ties on Saturday.

Dufftown’s North Regional Cup tie at home to Culter has now been changed to the Aberdeen side’s Crombie Park ground, with a 2pm kick off.

And Buckie Rovers’ group match in the new Archibald Cup at Grantown will now go ahead in Buckie, if Merson Park is playable.
