FRASERBURGH lead the way in the Highland League after previous table-toppers Buckie Thistle slipped up at Rothes.

First half goals by Greg Morrison and Alan Pollock (pen) gave the Speysiders a 2-0 win against a Jags side that hadn't lost a goal in their opening four wins.

Fraserburgh edged out Brechin 1-0 to maintain the only remaining 100 per cent record.

Forres Mechanics blew a 2-0 half time lead given to them by Lee Fraser and Paul Brindle goals, as Clach scored twice in the last eight minutes despite having a man sent off.

Lossiemouth crashed to a 3-1 defeat at Strathspey Thistle, Ross Elliott getting a late consolation.

Deveronvale went down 3-0 at Inverurie Locos and Dane Ballard missed a penalty for the Banff side.

Managerless Brora Rangers thrashed Fort William 8-0 while Matty McDonald's strike landed Turriff their first point in a 1-1 draw at Wick Academy.

Goals by Jordan Lynch, Scott Lisle (2) and jonny Smith gave Formartine United a 4-1 win over Nairn County.
