Hopeman and FC Fochabers compete for Mike Simpson Cup at Grant Park in Lossiemouth

THE first cup final of the season in the Moray and District Welfare takes place tonight (Friday, Sept 1) at Grant Park.

Abbeyside League Champions FC Fochabers play Hopeman in the Mike Simpson Cup.

The Fochabers side are fresh from clinching a second consecutive league title on the last day of the season at RAF Lossiemouth last weekend.

Hopeman will be looking for some measure of revenge after a defeat in the penultimate game of the season at Fochabers dashed their hopes of the league title.

The game kicks off tonight at 7.30pm and admission is £4.
