HEAVY snow on Friday and icy conditions this morning have forced the postponement of seven Highland League games today.

Forres Mechanics' game at home to Buckie Thistle and Nairn County's game at home to Huntly were called off after both failed pitch inspections at 9.30am this morning.

Keith's game against Deveronvale at Kynoch Park and Rothes' visit to Turriff United have also been called off due to snowbound pitches.

While Clachnacuddin's game at home to Formartine United and Strathspey's basement battle at home to Fort William were called off last night.

Brechin City's tie at Glebe Park against Inverurie Locos has also fallen victim to the weather after failing a pitch inspection this morning.

The latest postponements adds further fixture congestion to an already heavily disrupted Highland League campaign.
