KEITH and Buckie Thistle have been handed a first round bye in the Morrison Motors Aberdeenshire Shield draw.

And both Moray clubs have been given home ties in the quarter-finals.

Keith will play host to the winners of the Huntly v Cove Rangers first round tie.

Buckie are at home to Fraserburgh and will fancy their chances of reaching the semis after defeating the Buchan side in the league recently.

First round matches are played on September 30 with Keith and Buckie’s second round efforts taking place on October 28.

Deveronvale v Aberdeen University

Second round:

Turriff or Banks o’ Dee v Inverurie Locos

Deveronvale or Aberdeen Uni v Formartine United

Buckie Thistle v Fraserburgh

Keith v Huntly or Cove

Semi-finals:

Turriff or Banks o’ Dee or Inverurie v Buckie or Fraserburgh
