The Maroons lost 3-1 at Inverurie Locos after taking the lead in Wednesday night’s tie.

Bruce Milne gave Keith a first half lead before Martin Bavidge struck twice for the home side in the first ten minutes of the second half.

A Martin Laing goal confirmed victory for Locos, while Keith had Craig Cormack sent off before full time.

Locos are at home in the semi-finals to Aberdeen juniors Banks o’Dee, who won 4-1 at Huntly.

Fraserburgh beat Deveronvale 1-0 to progress to the other semi, where they will host Cove Rangers, who beat Turriff on penalties after a 2-2 draw.

In the North of Scotland Cup, Forres Mechanics’ semi-final opponents next month will be Nairn County.

Cans beat Rothes on Tuesday night and 24 hours later, Nairn came from behind with two late goals to win 2-1 at Strathspey Thistle.

The other semi-final will be between Caley Thistle and Wick Academy, who beat Clach 2-1 thanks to a stoppage time penalty winner.
