Hopeman celebrate their 2017 welfare football title success

Fifteen teams are taking part this season with Lhanbryde returning to the fold, while FC Buckie and Ugie Youths drop out.

Hopeman won last year's title by the closest of margins, as they were one goal better off than Aberlour Villa in a head-to-head after the sides finished level on points.

The coast side begin their league defence with a trip to Lossiemouth to play Elgin Athletic.

Aberlour welcome Cullen to Villa park for their opener while newcomers Lhanbryde take on Buckie United at Portgordon.

FC Fochabers are at bome to Rothes A, Burghead united travel to Tomintoul while a Banffshire derby sees Portsoy play host to Banff Rovers.

The only match in Elgin sees Bishopmill Rovers do battle with Macduff AFC at Pinefield.

See next week's Northern Scot for reports on all games.
