Jags won 2-0 on Wednesday night at foggy Banff against coast neighbours Deveronvale, who finished the match with nine men.

The first half ended goal-less although ‘Vale had Craig Cowie sent off for a challenge on Kai Ross five minutes before the break.

It was to be in the final ten minutes before Buckie would make their one man advantage count.

Veteran Donnie Munro headed home at a corner to finally crack the home side’s resistance.

Vale then had defender Lukas Krobot ordered off for a second booking in the last minute.

Against nine men, Buckie added a second goal when former Jag Kevin Souter headed into his own net from an Andy Low free kick.
