Lossie was predominantly an outdoor club until the early 80s when then President J.R. Hampton, an architect, drew up plans to create a modern clubhouse with the facility to play indoor bowls during the greens closed season.

The new clubhouse opened on July 8, 1983 which began the club’s involvement with the Moray Indoor Bowling Association.

In the 2023 season, Lossie BC played superbly at home, but as always being successful on the road can be crucial to winning a championship.

The coastal club won all seven of their away matches which is unprecedented in recent years, with the only blemish coming at home to second-placed Lhanbryde.

To win 13 out of 14 matches accumulating 71 points was an outstanding achievement by the Lossiemouth squad.

President Charlie Stewart praised his team for a superb season. He went on to mention having agonisingly lost out in the Charity Cup final - which went to extra ends - and said this first championship more than made up for the disappointment.

Despite having many fine teams through the years, the club had always come up short in the league.

This year with several long-life bowlers and several players whom have recently joined the club ensured a very balanced team being strong in all departments.

Lossiemouth winning team were: George Jack, Lindsay Smith, Margaret Stewart, Jutta Hewett, Sheanagh Bell, Susan McSheffrey, Jennifer Smith, Mark Thompson, Robert McSheffrey, Thomas Stewart, William Gallagher, Bryce Milne (Association President), Charles Stewart (Club President), William Stewart and Robert Jack.

Their president also mentioned with having numerous members this season, Lossie entered a second team which gave a good account of themselves playing in the second division.
