MacArthur (24) was farmed out by Lossiemouth to the town's junior side this season and has impressed with his performances at full back.

The defender, whose father Iain starred for Elgin City and Caley Thistle in his own playing days, has now signed permanently for United.

Another former Highland League player, striker Scott Dunn has been in hot scoring form since joining the club a few weeks ago.

Fellow front man Ross Archibald, on loan from Lossiemouth, has been another regular goalgetter for United.

United play their final game of the year before the winter break away to Deveronside on Saturday.
