Caley Thistle loan teenager MacRae netted for Cans for the eighth game in a row to open the scoring in a 4-1 home win over Clach on Saturday.

Craig McGovern netted twice and Stuart Soane was also on target for Mechanics, who recorded their 14th league win in their last 16 games.

Huntly bounced back from their heavy loss to Forres in midweek by defeating neighbours Keith 2-1 at Kynoch Park.

Cammy Keith's 21st goal of the season had the Maroons ahead on ten minutes and they held their advantage to half time.

But a Ryan Robertson own goal and a Ross Still strike rewarded an improved show by Charlie Charlesworth's team in the second half.

Deveronvale beat Buckie 2-1 in the Banffshire coast derby.

Grant Noble gave Vale a narrow lead at the interval and Paul Sutherland's goal two minutes after the break doubled the distance between the teams.

Kai Ross got one back late on for Buckie while Vale had Chris Blackhall sent off but the home team held on for the win.

Leaders Cove Rangers won 7-0 at Lossiemouth, second placed Inverurie beat Nairn 4-1 and third-placed Fraserburgh defeated Turriff 4-0.

Formartine beat Strathspey 4-0 and Wick thumped bottom side Fort William 6-0.
