Almost the entire length of the league table separated the two sides with Buckie expected to be too strong for the islanders on Sunday.

That proved to be the case with Buckie netting twice in the first half before going on wrap up an easy win.

Manager Mel Smith tried a new formation for the match and was happy with the way her team performed on the day.

Milly Findlay scored three while Emily McAuslan (2), Kathryn Evans and Alena Gardiner were also on target.

League table

Buckie now sit second in the league table behind all-conquering leaders Inverness Caley Thistle.

The Highland capital side recorded a 23-0 victory over Orkney on the opening day, and in total have racked up 64 goals and conceded just two in their four victories so far.

Buckie should continue their winning ways when they visit bottom side Kirkwall City in their next game on Sunday.
