Misty magic helps Elgin rider score double success at Mundole Equestrian show jumping event

Show jumping entertained the crowds at the Mundole Equestrian centre on Sunday.

There was a double win for Elgin rider Kelly Steel on Misty in the 0.60 and 0.70 classes.

Horses ranged in size from a miniature Shetland - George - ridden by Kinloss' Anna Davidson who collected a first and second, to Axle, over 17 hands, who was the winner of the 0.80 class with Rafford rider Aileen Ferrari.

Riders travelled from as far afield as Cromarty and Newtonmore, competing for Easter Egg prizes and rosettes.

Cross Poles: 1 Sarah Maclennan, Kilmorack (Rebel); 2 Anna Davidson (George); 3 Hannah Dempsie

0.50: 1 Sophie Annand, Newtonmore (Tilly); 2 Caitlin Smith, Cawdor (A Little Wish); 3 Lucy Annand, Newtonmore (Stella)

0.60: 1 Kelly Steel, Elgin (Misty); 2 Emily Rattray, Aberlour (Naples Bay); 3 Ashley Moore, Knockando (Jeff)

0.70: 1 Kelly Steel (Misty); 2 Karen Robertson, Elgin (Indiana); 3 Susan Mackenzie, Cromarty (Louis)

0.80: 1 Aileen Ferrari, Rafford (Axle); 2 Susan Mackenzie (Louis); 3 Rebecca Rozin, Ross-shire (Annie)
