Moray badminton duo win trio of tournaments in Inverness
IT was a strong Sunday in Inverness for the best of Moray's badminton players as a number of medals were collected at the Highland Badminton Group's annual Junior Restricted.
A total of 71 youngsters from across the north took part in competitions across three age groups – 13s, 15s and 19s – at Inverness Royal Academy on March 18.
Moray duo Callum McWhiter, competing at under-19s, and Isla Johnston, under-15s, won all three of their competitions – singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
Drew Murdoch, also from Moray, won a double in the under-15s competition. There were scores of other winners from Moray, in all three age groups.
