BUCKIE Thistle make the long midweek trip to Fort William tonight (Wednesday) with two key players back on board.

Chris Angus and Darren Wood both came through Jags’ Aberdeenshire League win against Formartine on Monday, and will feature against Fort.

Wood had been out injured while Angus was on holiday, and both missed a chunk of Buckie’s recent winning run which ended with the 2-1 league defeat against Formartine on Saturday.

Lossiemouth welcome back midfielder Willie Mathers as they play host to Huntly in search of their fourth league win of the campaign.

Mathers is between offshore stints and flys out on holiday tonight but has agreed to play for the Coasters in one game before he jets out to sunnier climes.

Lossie are missing offshore pair Kevin Duguid and Jordan Main, David Chambers has an eye injury, Mark Hector is on honeymoon and keeper Connor Hall is still on holiday.

However, summer signing Darren McConnachie made his return to the Lossie number 1 jersey in the 4-1 defeat at Turriff on Saturday and will face Huntly.

Forres Mechanics will still be without centre back Steven Fraser for the long trip north to Wick Academy, as the stopper serves the second of a two-match ban.

The Cans could include new loan signing Scott Davidson who has been farmed out by Clach for a month.

Full back Aaron Scully could return to Keith’s line-up for the daunting trip to face free-scoring Formartine. Scully has missed the last two weeks due to work commitments.

Rothes welcome Turriff to MacKessack Park, keen to bounce back from Saturday’s 3-0 home loss to Fort William.

Vice-captain Andrew Corbett returned to the Speysiders’ bench at the weekend and could soon be fit to resume his place in defence.
