United are level on points with champions Hopeman - who didn't play on Friday - with the two clubs meeting in their final match before the league split this week.

Home side Aberlour gifted Buckie the lead within the first 60 seconds after a defensive mix up between the villa goalkeeper Paul Robertson and defender Shaun Robertson.

William Morrison capitalised to slide in between them to force the ball home for a quick opener.

But Villa were on top during the first half and struck the bar froma Jack Craib free kick.

Hunting an equaliser after the interval, Aberlour were hit on the break and when the ball fell findly for Jo Sutherland, he found the net for United's second goal.

A series of Villa chances went a-begging and although Stevie Reid netted a thunderbolt free-kick in the final minute, it was too late for the home side to mount a comeback.

Cullen produced their best win of the season so far, defeating Lossiemouth's youth development team 2-1.

Home side Lossie struck first on six minutes when Fraser O'Neill flashed a ball across the goalmouth from the right side and Aidan MacKay stretched to put the ball past the Cullen goalie.

The visitors deservedly levelled on 20 minutes, as a well-timed pass through the centre released Kieran Ferguson and he took a touch before finishing well.

Ferguson did it again on the half hour, beating his marker out wide before driving inside and firing the ball home at the near post.

After the break, Cullen has a goal disallowed for handball while Lossie had chances to level but couldn't take any of them as the visitors held on for the win.

RAF Lossie hosted Portsoy and after a slow start, Craig Daley had the ball in the net for the airmen only for the goal to be disallowed for a push.

A Portsoy chance was fired over at the other end with neither side able to find the target.

The second half was much more lively, as RAF Lossiemouth pushed for a goal.

Many chances came for the home team but poor finishing and some good saves from the Portsoy keeper kept the scoresheet blank.

After a good tackle from Aiden Redmile, a Portsoy player kicked out at the player which resulted in him seeing a straight red in the 80th minute.

RAF Lossie tried to take advantage with the extra man but couldn't make a breakthrough, and they too were reduced to ten men in the final minute when Ryan O'Halloran was shown a second yellow.
