The Elgin Bowling Club rolled out their new summer season on Saturday - and are on the hunt for new members.
President Audrey Gill rolled out the silver jack on the Reidhaven Street green to signify the official opening, after existing members who attended the event were piped out by Bronagh Gillies.
Mrs Gill hopes fresh blood can be attracted this year and explained what is on offer for anyone keen to become a new member.
“We are always keen to have new members any age and ability,” she said.
“We meet every Tuesday evening at 6.30pm until May when it changes to 7pm for a friendly game and social evening after.
“We have a few junior members and are keen to encourage youngsters. There is coaching for youngsters on a Wednesday at 4pm from May onwards.
“Everyone is made very welcome and bowls are available for people to try. All that is needed is a pair of flat-soled shoes.”
