TWO Old Firm legends are set to visit Elgin at the end of October.
Former Rangers man Mark Hateley and Celtic midfielder Alan Thompson are both set for evenings at The Eight Acres Hotel, on October 27 and 28 respectively.
Hateley will be first up, on Thursday, October 27. Hateley played for AC Milan and AS Monaco before becoming a legend at Ibrox with Rangers.
He scored 112 times for the club, with Rangers winning the title in every season he was involved in as they marched to nine leagues in a row.
Thompson, who played with Bolton Wanderers, Aston Villa and hometown club Newcastle United before joining Celtic, will speak on the Friday.
At Celtic, Thompson scored seven times against Rangers – as well as notching famous strikes against Liverpool and Barcelona and playing in a UEFA Cup final.
Both players will tell the tale of their careers before answering questions from audience members.
The duo are being taken to Elgin by The Longest Forty Production, who have worked with some of football's biggest names.
The company also played a major role in bringing Andrea Bocelli and Duran Duran to Inverness.
Tickets are on sale now for both events. Mark Hateley's can be found at https://HateleyElgin.eventbrite.co.uk, with Alan Thompson's at https://ThompsonElgin.eventbrite.co.uk.
