He might be the new Scottish super-welterweight champion, but Fraser Wilkinson still sees plenty room for improvement.
The self-critical Kynoch Boxing fighter won almost every one of the ten rounds at Elgin Town Hall to defeat Arbroath's Corey McCulloch and claim his first professional belt.
It took a disciplined performance from 'Wilko' to overcome a tough opponent and claim the cheers of a noisy home crowd.
Yet he feels there were aspects of his performance that can be bettered, and he intends to work hard in the gym to make himself even better for his next bout.
"I had to watch out, he was trying to make it rough and physical and push me back," Wilkinson said of his victory.
"He was attacking the body a lot and got a couple of body shots in. He hit me in the ninth or tenth as I was moving and I had to grab him.
"That was a good bit of experience. He was a big heavy hitter and I let him do that. The clear difference was my head movement, he was missing me all the time.
"I am my own worst critic. When we were sat back in the changing room and speaking about the fight, I was saying I could have done this better and that better.
"But everyone told me just to shut up - I had won.
"I’m never satisfied and I think that is what is going to make me a true champion, never being fully satisfied with my performances.
"I might look back in a couple of months and realise I was better than I thought I was. But I know I’ve got a lot more to give.
"I’ve got the world in my hands now in terms of boxing."
