Midfielder Rabin Omar and defender Andrew McDonald will be moving on to pastures new next term.

Omar (23) was City's third top goalscorer last season behind front two Shane Sutherland and Kane Hester.

The former Annan Athletic player netted five times including the opening goal in Elgin's memorable 2-1 Challenge Cup win at Dundee.

In total, the player scored eight goals in 53 starts and nine sub appearances for the Black and Whites since signing two years ago.

McDonald joined City a year ago from Stranraer, having had a previous loan spell in 2018 from first club St Mirren.

The 22-year-old stopper made a total of 35 starts and two sub appearances for Elgin, his last being on December 7.

Both men are on a list of players available this summer, as released by PFA Scotland.

Ross County have released midfielders Jack Grant and Gregor MacDonald, who were on loan at Keith last term, stopper Jack Murray who was farmed out to Buckie and Ruari Fraser who had a spell at Forres Mechanics.

The Dingwall club have also released Elgin-born full back Richard Foster, whose previous clubs include Aberdeen and Rangers, and Elgin-based teenager Joel MacBeath.
