ROTHES have signed Ross County midfielder Tom McLennan on a short-term loan deal.
McLennan (20) is expected to go straight into the Speysiders’ squad for Saturday’s trip to Inverurie Locos.
Manager Steven MacDonald was set to bring the defensive midfielder in a week ago but the deal fell through.
MacDonald confirmed on Friday that the player has now been farmed out to MacKessack Park by the Premiership outfit.
“Tom has been training with the first team (at Ross County) but he’s been out injured for most of the season,” MacDonald said.
“Ketts (County development coach Stuart Kettlewell) wants him to get games and says he is now looking really fit, and the time out had done him good physically.”
McLennan featured in a bounce game for Rothes against Dufftown earlier this month.
