ROTHES have announced Ross Jack as their new manager after the departure of Steven MacDonald three weeks ago.

The Speysiders have been on fine form since MacDonald's departure, under caretaker duo Nathan Sharp and Gordon Connelly, but have appointed Jack to take the team forward after Saturday's 2-0 win over Inverurie Loco Works.

The 60-year-old was manager of Elgin City for five years, and managed Turriff United to a second place Highland League finish in 2014.

Rothes thanked Gordon Connelly for his help with managing the team and wished him all the best for the future.
