JOE Russell is relishing his first Highland League management job at Lossiemouth.
The 45-year-old RAF Lossiemouth avionics trade manager was appointed as Coasters' boss last week.
Former Elgin City youth coach Russell steps up from his first team coaching role at Lossie to manage.
Ian Campbell, who was previous manager Iain MacRae's assistant, will continue in the number two role under Russell.
The pair worked together at Elgin City youth development and have brought in another former Borough Briggs youth coach Jamie Reilly to work as first team coach at Lossie.
"I'm excited about this opportunity and hope I can do a decent job and bring a bit of stability to the club," he said. "They've went through a few managers in the last few years so between myself, Ian and Jamie we want to give the club that stability for a few years if we can."
Russell had a previous spell at Lossiemouth, coaching under fellow serviceman Charlie Charlesworth and his assistant Staurt Cameron before leaving when he was posted away with the RAF in 2010.
He returned to the Lossie base and worked with Campbell at Elgin City, before making the switch back to the Grant Park club last year as first team coach.
