The Black and Whites have brought in stopper Jevan Anderson on loan from Cove Rangers.

Anderson, who turns 22 next week, could make his debut in tomorrow's crucial league encounter against Stirling Albion.

A Dons youth product, the centre back had a spell in the Highland League at Formartine United and played south of the border with Burton Albion, and on loan at Hereford United and Kettering.

He joined Cove last summer and has played ten times for the League 1 side.

Anderson joins fellow Cove player Ross Draper on loan at Borough Briggs and could replace Draper in the side tomorrow due to injury.

City are keen to end a five-game losing streak which has left them hovering just six points above the relegation play-off zone in League 2.

Elgin manager Gavin Price is keen to take another loan signing in, having missed out on St Johnstone's Max Kucheriavyi - who joined Kelty - and an unnamed striker.
